The JBL L112 loudspeaker system was released in 1980 as an improved version of the original L-100 Century/4130 control monitor. JBL speaker engineers reexamined and reworked every single aspect of these already exquisite systems with the benefit of years of valuable feedback attained from recording engineers and other audio professionals. The JBL L100 Century loudspeakersystem was released in the mid 1970’s and is the predecessor to the infamous JBL L112’s.
JBL L-100’sfeatured a 12″ woofer, a 5″ inch mid range, and a 1 1/2″ tweeter along with mid range and high frequency adjustment controls beneath their removable grilles. The cabinets measuring 23 1/2″ tall, 14 1/2″ wide, and 13 5/8″ deep are finished in classic walnut veneer.
