The Dynaco MK II power amplifier first appeared in 1955. The MK II was available in two versions. The first as an unassembled kit for $59.99 or a fully assembled version for $79.99. This was the first ever amplifier kit offered by Dynaco. The Pioneer SX-3600 Receiver was a middle of the road unit still but one of the last of the Pioneer Fluroscan receivers. It featured the Pioneer Non-Switching amplifier, this time delivering  30 watts per channel with less than 0.005% total harmonic distortion.  This was a classic silver face unit weighing in at about 18 pounds.
