The Dynaco MK II power amplifier first appeared in 1955. The MK II was available in two versions. The first as an unassembled kit for $59.99 or a fully assembled version for $79.99. This was the first ever amplifier kit offered by Dynaco. A true classic collectors tube amplifier it featured the Dynaco A-430 output transformer and was rated at 50 watts continuous 100 watts peak into one monophonic channel. The Pioneer SX-3600 Receiver was a middle of the road unit still but one of the last of the Pioneer Fluroscan receivers. It featured the Pioneer Non-Switching amplifier, this time delivering 30 watts per channel with less than 0.005% total harmonic distortion. This was a classic silver face unit weighing in at about 18 pounds. The Pioneer SX-3600 receiver was available from 1980 to 1982.
