When the Pioneer M-90 power amplifier was introduced in 1987 it was billed a a “super high power stereo amplifier” conservatively rated at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and delivered 800 watts of dynamic power into 2 ohms.  Whoa, talk about some solid bottom end sound. The Pioneer sx-1280 is legendary.
